Set up your Price4Parts profile so buyers and suppliers know who they are working with. A complete profile helps build trust and makes communication, requests, listings and orders easier.
Who can create a profile?
price4parts supports two main profile types:
- Buyer profile — For companies that want to request parts, compare quotes and place orders.
- Supplier profile — For manufacturers and suppliers that want to create listings, receive requests and manage orders.
How to create your profile
- Sign up or log in — Go to the Price4Parts homepage and create an account or sign in with your existing account.
- Choose your account type — Select whether you want to use Price4Parts as a:
- Buyer — Choose this if you want to source parts or compare supplier offers.
- Supplier — Choose this if you want to offer manufacturing services, create listings or receive buyer requests.
- Add your company information — Enter the basic company details:
- Company name
- Business address
- Country
- Contact person
- Email address
- Phone number
- VAT-ID
- Website, if available
- Complete your business details — Depending on your account type, you may be asked to add additional information.
- For buyers — Industry
- For buyers — Typical part categories
- For buyers — Preferred materials or processes
- For buyers — Billing information
- For suppliers — Manufacturing capabilities
- For suppliers — Machines and technologies
- For suppliers — Materials you work with
- For suppliers — Certifications
- For suppliers — Production capacity
- For suppliers — Delivery regions
- Upload your logo and profile image — A company logo makes your profile look more professional and helps other users recognize your business. Use a clear image with good quality. Avoid blurry, stretched or cropped logos. A picture of a contact person is best practice for more human interaction.
- Review and save your profile — Before saving, check that all information is correct. You can usually edit your profile later from your account settings.
Best practices for a strong profile
A complete profile helps increase trust and can improve your chances of successful business on Price4Parts.
- Add a username (no company details allowed here).
- Add a clear company description (no company details allowed here).
- Keep your certification details up to date.
- Upload professional pictures.
- For suppliers, describe your manufacturing strengths clearly.
- For buyers, add enough information so suppliers understand your needs.
Supplier profile tips
If you are a supplier, your profile should quickly answer these questions:
- What do you manufacture?
- Which processes do you offer?
- Which materials can you work with?
- What industries do you serve?
- What makes your company reliable?
Example: We are a CNC machining supplier specializing in aluminum and stainless steel parts for industrial machinery, automotive and automation projects. We offer milling, turning, surface finishing and small-to-medium series production.
Buyer profile tips
If you are a buyer, your profile should help suppliers understand your company and typical sourcing needs.
Example: We source custom mechanical components for machine building and automation projects. We regularly request CNC-machined, sheet metal and 3D-printed parts for prototypes and small series production.
Common issues
- I can’t save my profile — Check if all required fields are completed. Also make sure your email address and phone number are entered in the correct format and you have an active plan.
- My company information is incorrect — Go to your account or profile settings and update the company details. Some verified company information may require support approval before it can be changed.
- I selected the wrong account type — Contact support if you created the wrong profile type or need to switch between buyer and supplier access.
- My logo does not upload — Use a common file format such as PNG or JPG. Make sure the file is not too large and that the image is not corrupted.
